Carlotta Marie Huddleston, four-year-old daughter of Mr and Mrs Ardell Huddleston, Dawson at 9:30 am today while receiving treatment in the office of Dr E F Cole. Dr J E Johnston, Nortonville, who had been treating the girl, and Dr C R Morton, county health officer, were quoted as saying today that the child, who had been ill nine days, died from typhus fever. Dr! Cole said that he administered treatment to the child Saturday night and that the girl was in a dying condition when brought to his office this morning. This was the Huddleston's only child. A private funeral will be conducted in Nortonville and burial will be in New Salem Cemetery, near Nortonville.
