Eudora Vina "Dora" (Powers) Smith was born on September 25, 1858 in Montgomery County, Tennessee, the daughter of Thomas J "Tom" Powers (ca 1828- ) and Margaret (Rodgers) Powers (ca 1840-ca 1875). Dora's parents were married on May 11, 1856 in Montgomery County.
Dora was married in 1882 to Isaac Dorch "Ike" Smith (6 Aug1859–6 Mar 1942), the son of Jack Smith and Lee Ann (Davenport) Smith.
She was 87 years old and a widow when she passed away on January 7, 1946 in Montgomery County on Rural Route 1, Slayden (although Slayden is listed in Dickson Co), and was buried on January 8th in Smith Cemetery in rural Montgomery County.
