Mrs. Mary Ann McDowell, of Fredericktown, was born May 20, 1876 at Valles Mines and died November 25, 1967 at the age of 91 years and six months, at the Madison Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late William Iahn and Isabelle Higgs Iahn. Her husband, Thomas Jefferson 'Jeff' McDowell preceded her in death in 1930. She is survived by one son, a daughter, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and six step-grandchildren; one brother, two sisters, also several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Services were conducted Monday, November 27 at 1:30 p.m. at the Church of God of Prophecy.
