Kentucky, County Marriages, 1783-1965 [S7265] Find a Grave: WEATHERFORD Sarah McDonald, Sarah Frances Weatherford McDonald. Like a sheaf of golden grain gathered by the angel harvesters for the heavenly gardeners, Mrs. Frances McDonald was taken from earth Tuesday morning "as sweetly as a child whom neither thought disturbs, nor care encumbers; lived with long play, at close of summer's day, lies down and slumbers." She was ill 10 weeks at the home of her son, Lon, two miles northwest of Poteau. Mrs. McDonald was born Oct. 15. 1847, in Trig county, Kentucky, and came to Poteau 18 years ago. Surviving are a brother, T. J. Weatherford of Mayfield, KY; and four sons, Lon, Luther, and Henry McDonald of Poteau, and John McDonald of Jenny Lind, AR; and one daughter, Sadie Benbrooks, of Calico Rock, AR. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Witteville cemetery. Rev. John M.
