Mrs Josie Moore, 83, died Sunday in a Sullivan nursing home after a long illness. Mrs Moore was born on Cranberry Island, the daughter of Edwin and Mary (Harding) Bunker.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs Retha Bonia of Dorchester MA, several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held from the Fernald Funeral Home in Mt Desert. The Rev Paul Weimer of the Tremont Larger Parish will officiate. Burial will be at Mt Height Cemetery Southwest Harbor.
Josie married: (1) Joel Gott on 25 Dec 1893, (2) John Franklin Brown on 23 Mar 1901, (3) Edward Ferris, and (4) Albert Delmont Moore on 15 Sep 1932.
