  [S10709] FindAGrave Old World (Famous), Anna Ingigarth of Swede 1004-1050 - Saint (Original Name: Ingegärd Olovsdotter of Sweden). Saint Anna - Kievan (Ukranian) great princess. She was originally Princess of Sweden of the ancient House of Upsala and also called Ingigerd and Irene. Her birth year is approximate. She became "Saint Anna" (Святой Анна) in the Russian Orthodox Church after retiring from her marriage to Great Prince Yaroslav and family life and joining a strict convent. Originally betrothed to a king of Norway, she married Yaroslav in 1019 and moved east instead of west. The marriages of three of their daughters founded royal dynasties in Norway, Hungary and France and one of their sons the Russian dynasty of tsars that would rule until 1598.
