Lena passed away June 16, 1980 at the age of 71 years,in Salem, Ark. at the Fulton County Hospital.
She was born Jan. 11,1909 in Montary, Mo. to the late Marion and Lena Lee (Adams) Stickland. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Homer Doss, and James Kennon.
She was survived by four sons, Ivan Doss of Leadington, Mo. Gene Doss of Bossier City La. and Roy Elwood Doss of Mammoth Springs Ark. and Willard Kennon of St. Charles, Mo. two step-sons; Veral Kennon of Flat River, and Melvin Kennon of La Grande, Ill. four sisters; Laura Zink, Elsie Black both of Esther, Flora Mahurin of Flat River, Faye Nieth of St. Louis. By two brothers; Francis Strickland of St. Louis, and Lonnie Strickland of Farmington. One step-brother Paul Racer of Leadington, 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Esther Nazarene Church, and Burial was at the Park View Cemetery in Farmington, Mo.
