Funeral services for L C Donegan, 65, were to be held today at Gowen-Smith Chapel with burial in Willow Mount Cemetery.
Mr Donegan, a retired Fly Manufacturing Co employe, died Wednesday in Bedford County General Hospital.
He was a native of Dickson County and a Methodist.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs Ethelene Clark and Mrs Ruth Baker, Shelbyville, and Mrs Edith Bateman, Lynchburg; five sons, Leamon, Woodbury, J C Wilson and Terry, Shelbyville, and Airman 2c Leonard C Donegan Jr, Robins Air Force Base GA; two brothers Marshall, Dickson, and Malloy Donegan, Madison Heights MI; seven sisters, Mrs Lola Lovell and Mrs Elberta Reynolds, Nashville, Mrs Naomi Jones, Old Hickory, Mrs Iva Nowlin, Tullahoma, Mrs Alma Byrd, Troy MI, Mrs Geneva I Dowden, Muskegon MI, and Mrs Valley Fielder, Dickson; 21 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Olivia Bell Donegan, 82, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Friday, February 15th 2013 in a local heaith care facility. Olivia was a native of Shelbyville TN and had lived there most of her life until relocation to Cleveland approximately ten years ago.
She was born on January 22 1931, a daughter of the late Odus and Mattie Barnett. Olivia was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Valley View Baptist Church. She was an accomplished seamstress, quilter, and knitter. She also loved gardening and was an avid reader.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Myles Wilson Donegan and three sisters, Rachel Lowe, Belly Reed, and Marion Moulder.
Olivia leaves behind to cherish her memory, one daughter and son-in-law, two sons and daughters-in-law, two sisters, ,eleven grandchildren, seven great-grand children, numerous other extended family members and the friends in her senior adult group from Valley View Baptist Church.
A memorial celebration is planned at the Valley View Baptist Church located in Cleveland, with the Reverend David Tuten officiating. The family will receive friends at the church.
A second visitation is planned at the Shelbyville First Church of the Nazarene located in Shelbyville.
The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Valley View Baptist Church in Olivia's memory. The family also wishes to thank the staff of Bradley Health Care and Rehab for the excellent care they provided Mrs Olivia during her stay there.
