Jeanne was a homemaker, a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church and the widow of Thell Adams. She is survived by two sons, Steve Adams and wife, Bernadette, and Stan Adams and fiancee, Julie Cook of Fort Smith; brother, Jim King and wife, Connie of Jenks, Okla.; and one granddaughter, Amanda Adams of Barling. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at Lewis Funeral Chapel, 4817 Kelley Highway in Fort Smith with interment at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith officiated by the Rev. Mike Stark.
