Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 11 AM in the Ivers and Alcorn Mission Chapel for Mark C Cathey, 66 for whose family Cathey Valley In Mariposa County was named. He died Wednesday following a short illness. Burial will be in the Merced Cemetery. Cathey was a grandson of Andrew Cathey who came to California in 1849. In 1852 he settled with his family in Cathey Valley.
