Elizabeth Pierce Services were held Tuesday morning in the Creighton Chapel for Elizabeth Pierce, 81, who died Feb. 7 in Fresno. Burial was in the Kingsburg Cemetery. The Rev. S. Willard Samuelson officiated.

Mrs. Pierce was born in Missouri and lived in Kingsburg from 1933 to 1948. Her husband, the late John F. Pierce, was superintedent of Kingsburg High School.

They moved to Lagunda Hills, where she belonged to the Baptist Church, and then to Fresno. Mrs. Pierce is survived by a brother, Fred Olive of Kansas, and three sisters, Carrie Turley of Taft, Hattie Lupkey of Missouri, and Eleanor Pease of Tennessee
