Word was received in Festus Saturday night by Mrs E Kerruish of the death of her brother, Adam Armbruster of Los Angeles CA, on that day. Mr. Armbruster was 70 years of age.

Funeral services were held from the Catholic church in Forest Lawn, Glendale CA, on Monday. He was also a brother of Mrs CE Miller of Festus and Henry Armbruster of Flat River and George Armbruster of St Louis. He is also survived by his wife and two daughters, Mesdames Sailor and Porter of Los Angeles.

Mrs Kerruish visited him early in the month and says that at that time he was in failing health. Mr Armbruster was in the general store business here about 40 years ago. After disposing of his interests here, he moved to Flat River, where he entered the furniture business. Later he went to California and again entered the furniture business in Los Angeles. He was actively engaged in this line at the time of his death.
