A Sutton couple on the way to a nearby orchard to buy apples was killed when a pickup truck plunged over a steep embankment.
Ewell Keener, 65, died a short time after the accident, and his wife, Mrs Lucy Keener, died several hours later in a Sutton hospital.
The driver of the truck, Henry Duffield, about 80, was hospitalized with a broken leg.
