Kingsley B Cunio, 77, died Jan 18 1992 at a Bangor hospital. He was born in Lawrence MA Dec 6 1914, the son of John A and Carrie Mabel (Worcester) Cunio. He was employed for many years for Gilley Plumbing Company of Southwest Harbor and ran his own business, Manset Plumbing and Heating Company in Manset. In his younger years he pitched baseball for the Columbia Falls Cubs and later for Orono in the Eastern Maine League. He finished his baseball career in Southwest Harbor. He was a member of the Columbia Baptist Church, Columbia. Kingsley is survived by his wife, Rachel E (Lawton) Cunio of Northeast Harbor; one son, David C Cunio of Ellsworth; one daughter and son-in-law, Linda B and Richard Sartori of Melrose MA; one brother and sister-in-law J Anthony and Alma Cunio of Sarasota FL; three grandchildren, Sharon E, Angela M, and Richard M Sartori; many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at the Columbia Cemetery, Columbia, with the Rev Elaine Tobak officiating. The family suggests that those who desire may make contributions in memory of Kingsley to the United Church of Christ, Manset or the Northeast Harbor Ambulance Fund, Northeast Harbor.
