Jean Frances Simpson Crum, 85 of Jeffersonville, IN passed away on Monday, December 14, 2015 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Crum was born on March 26, 1930 in Carlisle County, KY the daughter of Marvin and Berta Thomas Holt. She retired from I.C.I. Americas and formerly worked at Johnathon Jennings Elementary School both in Charlestown, IN. Frances was a member of the Covenant Life Church in Jeffersonville and the special things in her life were her relationship with the Lord, Family and friends, helping others and enjoyed working in her yard.
Survivors include her daughters, Peggy True(George) of Madison, IN, Cheryl Simpson-Stevens of Sellersburg, IN, Patsy Montgomery(John) of Shelbyville, KY and Terri Gray(Scott) of Charlestown; son Mark Simpson of Sellersburg, IN; nine grandchildren, Jeffery, Aaron, Matthew, Michael, Mark, Samuel, Alyse, Landon and Logan; fourteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lee Thomas (L.T.) Simpson and Marvin Dryer Crum; sisters, Maurine, Norma, Gaynell, Myrtle, and Grayce; brothers, Marvin and Tom.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. and after 10:00 A.M. Thursday until time of services.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs Frances Holt Simpson; a son, Mark Alan Simpson, Charlestown; four daughters, Mrs Peggy True, Madison, Mrs Cheryl Hattabaugh, Charlestown, and the Misses Patsy and Terri Simpson, both at home; a brother, and three grandchildren. -
