Sharon Morris, 79, of Evansville passed away Friday, March 15 2013, at her home. Sharon was born August 28 1933 in Evansville, the daughter of Henry and Bertha (Clark) Lauber. She retired from the EVSC after 37 years of service as a cafeteria worker at Caze Elementary School where her love of the children she nourished grew with every year. Sharon enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and working word search puzzles. She especially loved attending all her grandchildren’s sporting events. never missing a single one. She was a devoted wife and loving daughter, mother, mother-in-law, mamaw, and great-mamaw. She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Donald Morris of Evansville; daughter Donna Jones (Rick) of Evansville; sons Mark Morris (Susie) of Newburgh, and Scott Morris (Stephanie) of Evansville, grandchildren Corey Morris (Krista), Joshua Morris (Ashley), and Brandi O’Donnell (Collin), and great-grandson Liam O’Donnell. Funeral services will be held at Boone Funeral Home, East Chapel, with Reverend Jerry Clark officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.
