Mrs. W. H. Armbruster of Flat River, died at the Bonne Terre Hospital Tuesday evening about ten o'clock following an operation at eight o'clock. She had been in ill health for about two years and became bedfast in March, 1932, as the result of a paralytic stroke. On Monday of this week complications set in and she was removed to the Bonne Terre Hospital Tuesday evening. Her children were wonderful to her during her lengthy illness and even though everything humanly possible was done she bowed to the inevitable. The deceased was one of nine children born to James and Mary Sizemore. All of her brothers and sisters preceded her in death. She was born at Graniteville, September 20, 1881. She spent her early years in Elvins and was married to W. H. Armbruster on July 20, 1900. Following her marriage she went to Birmingham, Alabama, to reside, later she went to Festus and returned to Elvins in 1906 and later moved to Flat River.
