On Our Path to the Garden of Eden (32nd great grandson of Adam and Eve) Solomon was a monarch of ancient Israel and the son and successor of David. He was the penultimate ruler of an amalgamated Israel and Judah. Solomon built the First Temple in Jerusalem, dedicating the temple to Yahweh.
