_Constanze de Castilla
Constanza de Castilla, Reina de Castilla was born in 1354 at Castro Kerez, Castile, Spain.2 She was the daughter of Pedro I, Rey de Castilla y León and Maria de Padilla. She married John of Gaunt, Duke of Lancaster, son of Edward III, King of England and Philippe de Hainaut, on 21 September 1371 at Roquefort, Gascogne, France.2 She died on 24 March 1394 at Leicester, Leicestershire, England.2 She was buried at Newark Abbey, Leicester, Leicestershire, England.2mber 1371, her married name became Beaufort. She was invested as a Lady Companion, Order of the Garter (L.G.) in 1378.2
