Gallatin City Cemetery, Gallatin, Sumner County, Tennessee, USA
Notes: Established in 1818 and still in use, the cemetery has many historic monuments including those for some of Sumner County's most prominent citizens. The large Mexican War monument, one of the few in the United States, is located in the oldest part of the cemetery and dedicated to the fallen soldiers from Sumner County who fought in the Mexican-American War of 1846-48.
We make every effort to document our research. There is a lot of information that I do not have, and I know there are mistakes in this tree. My feelings will not be hurt if you give me corrections or additional information, especially if you can provide sources for the information.
