Survived by three sons, Stanley Overton, D. Wilson Overton, both of Nashville and Ray Lee Overton of Collinwood, Ontario, Canada; two brothers, Bill Dixon of Pennsylvania and Bob Dixon of Florida; one sister, Opal Jundzilo, Barber-ton, Ohio; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Remains are at the Buckner's Dickson Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 16, 1992 conducted by Bro. Roger Michael. Interment in Union Cemetery, Dickson. Memorials may be made to Alive Hospice,

MSgt. Ray Lee Overton, USAF, (Ret.), age 91 of Dickson, TN, passed away on May 20, 2022 at the Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville.
Mr. Overton was born May 25, 1930 in Dickson, TN. He was a son of the late Dallas and Ova Dixon Overton. He joined the military at an early age and retired Honorably with 20 years of service. Ray accepted the call to preach the Word of God. He spent over 40 years in the Church of Christ ministry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, LuAnne Overton; his siblings, Stanley Overton, and Jackie Overton.
Mr. Overton is survived by his wife, Lynda Drew Overton of Dickson, TN; his daughter, Evelyn Kerby (Jesse) of Dickson, TN; his son, Steven Overton (Judy) of Murfreesboro, TN; his brother, Wilson Overton (Judith) of Franklin, TN; 9 grandchildren, BJ, Johnny, Emily, Jeremy, Chris, Sarah, Blake, Quentin, Austin; and 15 great grandchildren. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A service with military honors will be rendered at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at 1 PM on Tuesday May 31, 2022 with Bro. Roger Wright giving words of comfort. Visitation with the family will be held at the Taylor Funeral Home on Tuesday May 31, 2022 from 10 AM until 12 PM.
