Mrs Kathlyn M Reed 83 died Friday at a Bar Harbor nursing home after a long illness. She was born at Tremont, Nov 13, 1882, daughter of Isaac T and Flora (Butler) Murphy. She was a member of the West Tremont Methodist Church. She was a founder of the Molay Club of Tremont. She was a member of Pythian Sisters of Bernard and Eastern Star Lodge at McKinley. Surviving are her husband Edmund E Reed, a grandson David E Reed, and three great-grandsons, all of here, two aunts and one uncle. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 230 pm pt the West Tremont Methodist Church, the Rev Gerard Rensen and the Rev Ronald Mosley officiating. Burial will be in Hill Rest Cemetery Tremont.
