Geneva Frances (Bowers) Cobb was born on August 1, 1921 in Kingston Springs, Cheatham County, Tennessee, and she was the daughter of Charles "Herman" Bowers (1889–1953) and his wife Blanche Ella (Collier) Bowers (1894–1948). She was married on August 25, 1943 to Gordon Brandon Cobb (1920-1975), the son of Estelle Christine (Smith) (Cobb) Turner (1901–1974) and her 1st husband Brandon France Cobb (1897–1934). Geneva worked for Vulcan Rubber and was a member of First Baptist Church of Clarksville in Montgomery County, Tennessee. She was 82 years old and a widow when she passed away at Dogwood Bend Assisted Living in Clarksville on December 25, 2003. Survivors included sons Wendell Cobb and Dudley Cobb of Clarksville, sister Fronia Jones in Ohio and two grandsons.
