Mrs. Maude E. Harper, age 72, died at her home in Seymour last Wednesday evening at 5:15 o'clock. She had been ill about two weeks, when she fell and suffered a fractured hip. She was born at Granville, KY September 27, 1863, and was married there to Stephen A. Harper May 4, 1889, who died twenty-one years ago. She was a member of the Methodist church. She had lived in Seymour for the past seven years. She is survived by six children, Mrs. Dewey M Hancock at home; Bingham Harper of Seymour; Frates Harper of IL; Mrs Oscar Norman of Lafayette; Theodore Harper of Louisville, and Mrs W W Wilson of Dayton IN, and twelve grandchildren.
