Harry Osborn Bush, district agent for the State Farm Insurance Companies, died suddenly of heart disease Monday afternoon at his home near Perryville. He was 61 years old.
Mr. Bush was working in the basement of his home when he suffered an attack about 10 o'clock. His condition grew worse rapidly and he succumbed about 2 o'clock without rallying.
The body lay in state at the Bey Funeral Home until 1:45 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, when the funeral was held from there to the Perryville Presbyterian Church, thence to the Home cemetery. Services were conducted by the Rev. H. T. Guthrie.
Harry Bush was born at Belvue, Ill, on Aug. 18, 1883, a son of the late George and Mary Lee Bush. He was married Dec. 2, 1916, to Miss Gladys McCord, who survives him. To them was born one son, Lieut. (j.g.) George Bush, now of New York City. He also leaves a sister, Mrs. W. E. Urban of Perryville.
Mr. Bush opened an insurance office in Perryville in 1926 and had been in business here since that time.
