Ralph Loren LaClair Ralph Loren LaClair, 28, of Alberton, died Tuesday from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Authorities reported he had a terminal illness. He was born April 22, 1954, at Tacoma, Wash., to Marilyn Georgia and Loren Charles LaClair. He was raised and attended schools in Toppenish, Wash., and in Idaho. On Oct. 22, 1974, he married Rhonda L. Spaun at Pinehurst. Idaho. He had worked as a roaster and boiler operator for Bunker Hill Mine in Idaho, and later was employed at a John Deere dealership in Washington. He and his family moved to Alberton in 1982. Survivors include his wife, Rhonda L. LaClair, and two sons, Robert M. LaClair and William L. LaClair, all of the family home in Alberton; his mother, Marilyn Martinez, Toppenish, Wash.; his in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. William Spaun, Anaconda; seven brothers and sisters, and six stepbrothers and stepsisters. Memorial services will be held Sunday, 1 p.m. at Squire Simmons and Carr Funeral Home. The Rev. Beryl Burr will officiate.
