He was married to Nancy Lewis. Leon was the owner/operator of Leon Ross Construction and attended Fort Donelson Church of God. A resident of Indian Mound, Stewart County, he was 78 years old when he died December 27, 2015 at Skyline Medical Center. Leon preceded in death by his parents, his brothers James Ross, Dorris Gene Ross, Kenneth Ross and Tommy Ross, sister Dorothy (Ross) Hudson and by a grandchild. Survivors included his widow, four sons, a daughter, sister, thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
