MILLER FUNERAL. Former Mayor of Festus Succumbs at 80 • Funeral services for Charles E. Miller, 80 years old, who was Mayor of Festus, Jefferson County, from 1898 until 1910, will be held Monday afternoon in Sacred Heart Church, Festus. He died of heart disease yesterday in his home at Festus. Mr. Miller settled in Festus in 1879 and engaged in the manufacture of brick. He furnished brick for the first glass factory in Crystal City and built Festus' first opera house in 1890. Later he entered the motion picture business with a son, Henry E. Miller. Survivors also include his wife, a daughter, Miss Frances Miller, and a sister.
