Jessie Day "Boots" Plott Dick, formerly of 234 Gray Street, died Monday morning May 1, 2006 in in the Brian Center, Lexington, N.C. She was born on April 8, 1920 in Danville, Va., a daughter of the late William Lowder Plott and Georgia Suddarth Plott. Mrs. Dick was married to Horace Paisley Dick, who died on November 7, 2002. She was retired from Thalhimer's and was a member of Moseley Memorial United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons, H. Wayne Dick, of Lexington, N.C., and Charles E. Dick, of Roanoke, Va.; one brother, Hank Plott, of Butner, N.C.; ten grandchildren; and eighteen greatgrandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by four brothers, Ken Plott, Willard Plott, Norman Plott, and Thomas Plott; two sisters, Billie Jones Ruppert and Clara Plott. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 6, 2006 at 2 p.m. from Moseley Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Pamela Rae Seeley presiding. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service
