Andrew Hood, the oldest man in Greenup county, and probably the oldest in the State died last Thursday at tbe residence of his son-in-law, Mr. John Adams, near Arglllite. Mr Hood was 115 years old, and until within two or three years was very active, but for sometime previous to his death bad been vary feeble and almost helpless. He was one of the oldest pioneer settlers of this county, and in later years wae frequently called as an important witness in settling disputes as to boundaries of land in the courts of this county.
