She was born in Hamlin, Kentucky to John Presley and Permelia V. (Thomas) Kelly, on March 14, 1918. She attended Murray State Teachers College. From there met her husband, Jeane Edwin Winslow and had a beautiful family. She spent her life as a military wife, supporting and teaching in various churches and was a prominent Sunday school teacher at Whitehall Baptist and Bloom Baptist Churches. Preceded in death by parents; sisters -Johnnie E. Jones and Estelle Lawrence McDougal; her husband of 49 years Jeane Edwin; granddaughter Kathryn E. (Marshall) Wright and great grandson Eric A. Wright. Survived by her daughters - Elna J. “Pat” Ruck, Nancy L. Marshall and son, Kelly (Lisa) Winslow. As well as by her grandchildren – Doug (Lisa) Ruck, Thomas (Holly Williams) Ruck, Robert Ruck, Mary Marshall, Stacie (Russell) Roth and great grandchildren – Tyler, Holden and Carys Ruck; Craig and Fionna Brod; Amie, Josh and Natalie Roth. Also is survived by her sister in laws Jean(Icenogle) Jackson and Julia Ann (Ferrol) Icenogle Cramer; nephews Gary (Kathy) Jackson and Thomas K. Lawrence. Funeral service will be held Monday June 12, 2017 at 1:00pm at Bloom Baptist Church; Lithopolis, Ohio. Friends may call as early as 11:00am up to the service time on Monday.
