Merton M Day 69 of 547 Hammond street Bangor died suddenly Friday morning while on a hunting trip in Dedham. He was a retired auto painter.
Born at Eddington June 28 1880, he was the son of Rufus apd Susanna DeBeck Day. Mr Day had resided in Bangor and Brewer for the major part of his life. He was a member of the First Christian church of Bangor and of the Men's club of that church.
Surviving him are his wife Leah; one son Ralph Holden; one daughter Mrs Hattie Lord Brewer; one sister Mrs Lillian Mosher Brewer; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will to held this afternoon at 1 o'clock from the First Christian church of Bangor.
