Milas Alex Bryant, Stewart County, TN, farmer, a lifelong resident of Indian Mound, died at 8 o'clock Sunday afternoon at his home. He was 78 yrs old and had been in failing health for the past two years. Services were conducted from the home and burial took place in the family cemetery at the home. Mr. Bryant was one of Stewart County’s most widely-known residents & was a successful farmer. He was born only a few miles from the place of his death. He was one of most substantial & highly esteemed citizen of his community.
