Alma Lewis "Amy" Moore, age 76, of Goodlettsville, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022. Born Jan 23, 1946 in Clarksville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Ferrin and Thelma Perkins Seay Smith. She was also preceded in death by her sisters: Ruth Bourne and Sue Alley. Amy adored the opportunity to serve others and be active in her community. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, having served as Past Matron, Grand Instructor and Grand Representative, as well as active with her husband in the Lions Club and other organizations. She was a gracious and strong lady, known as a friend to all. In her most difficult times, Amy never complained. She kept her struggles to herself to be an example of grace and dignity to those around her. She was a loving mother who doted on her husband, children and grandchildren. Given the opportunity, she loved to entertain and be a part of fish fries at the family shelter. In her free time, camping and travel adventures allowed her to get away and relax. Over a decade ago, Amy helped start the Millersville Sit-N-Stitch sew group. Wednesdays were the joy in her week as she gathered with friends to sew all day. The group was popular and continues to provide the opportunity for gathering. Amy is survived by her husband: Charles Moore of Goodlettsville; son: Brad Bohannon (Chandra) of Knoxville; grandchildren: Allyson, Caden, Olivia and Natalie; step-daughters: Kelley Ball of Springfield and Gina Garner (Mark) of Goodlettsville; 5 step-grandchildren; and beloved nieces and nephews: Buddy Bourne, Elaine Woodard, Susie Sholar, Diane Shepard, Richard Alley and Sheila Allison.
