Joyce was born February 17, 1937. Ms. McDole worked for more than forty years as an office manager for Nashville area hospitals and doctor offices. In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling in a league and singing in the church choir. She touched many hearts with her vocal talents as a soloist. She is survived by her children, Karen (Keith) Vanstone, and Lee McDole; grandchildren, Susan (Tony) Burden, Dana Reafsnyder, and Andrew McDole; great-grandchildren, Tyler Walker, Isaac LaBuda, Olivia Walker, and Zeke Reafsnyder. She is also survived by her sister, Judy Jones, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, A.P. Smith Sr, and Lillian Baggett Smith; brother A.P. Smith Jr, and Lowell smith, Sisters Martha Varela, and Elizabeth Woodward. A visitation for Joyce will be held Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hermitage Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138.
