Arthur George Lianos, 60, of Tucker Mountain Road died suddenly at home on Tuesday evening, Nov. 27, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Art was born in Quincy, Mass. on Sept. 3, 1947, and raised in Weymouth, Mass., the son of the late George A. and Anne (Paton) Lianos. He had been a resident of Meredith for over 25 years.
Art was employed as a Carpenter for over 25 years. He was an avid sportsman where he was listed in the Boone and Crockett Record Book with his Trophy Buck. An avid hot rod builder and enthusiast, Art recently completed a 1935 Plymouth with the help of his brother Alex, brother-in-law David Plummer, and many friends, as he had helped them for years in building theirs. He was a member of the Pemigewasset Valley Fish and Game Club, and a member of the National Street Rod Association
Honorably serving his country, Art was a United States Marine Corps veteran serving during the Vietnam War.
Arthur is predeceased by his infant brother, John Lianos.
Art is survived by his wife; his brother; his sister; many nieces and nephews as well as his beloved cocker spaniels, Naughty and Tuesday.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007 at the Simoneau-Paquette Memorial Home. Private burial will take place at a later date in the family lot at Bayside Cemetery, Laconia.
