She was born in Denmark Feb. 17, 1866, and came to the United States at the age of 16. Her husband died 23 years ago and since then she made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Fred A. Moores. Surviving are four sons, Nels of Cadott, William of Ladysmith, and Ralph and Carl of Eau Claire, and two daughters, Mrs. Oscar Erickson of Buffalo, Minn., and Mrs. Moores of Eau Claire. Services will be held from Stokes and Sons chapel Monday at 2 p. m, the Rev. M. T. Jesnen officiating. Interment will be at Forest hill cemetery. Friends may call at Stokes and Sons this evening and Monday until time of the funeral

Services will be conducted Thursday in the Snyder Funeral Home, Mt Sterling for Ralph C Clark, 56, Amanda, whose death occurred Monday evening in University Hospital, Columbus, ending a long illness.
The Rev A G Winkle of Amanda Methodist Church, is to officiate. Military rites will be held by members of the Clyde A Smith Post 57, American Legion, assisted by mem bers of the Mt Sterling Legion Post. Burial is to be made in Pleasant Cemetery.
Mr. Clark is survived by his widow, Ruth; two daughters: Mrs Robert C Byington, Jr, (Patricia Clark) Granville and Mrs G R Wharton (Nancy Clark) Littleton MA; four granddaughters; his father, Charles H Clark, Mt. Sterling: two brothers: Howard of Mt Sterling and Willis of San Francisco CA.
Mr Clark was a teacher until he became ill and a former member of the Amanda School faculty. The family came to Amanda from Portsmouth in 1933.
Mr Clark was a past master of Amanda Lodge 507, F and A M, a member of the Scottish Rite, Valley of Columbus and Aladdin Temple, a past commander of the Clyde A Smith Post of the Legion and Chef de Gare of Lancaster 40 et 8.
He graduated from Denison University where he was affiliated with Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He held a master's degree from Ohio State University.
Friends may call at the Snyder funeral home in Mt Sterling where Masonic rites will be held Wednesday.
