Minnie Allen Smith, 86, Indianapolis, died Thursday May 9, 1996, at St. Vincent Hospice, Indianapolis.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, with Dr. Ted Denny officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon today at the funeral home and will continue until the time of the service.
She was born Sept. 17, 1909, in Montgomery County, daughter of Herbert Eugene Allen and Lena Steppee Allen. She was the widow of Lurton E. Smith. Mrs. Smith Was a homemaker and a member of Broadway Baptist Church, Knoxville.
Survivors include one daughter, Sammye Smith Seivers, lndianapolis; one brother, John Allen, Shiloh; two sisters, Althea Schmidt, Coopertown, and Clara Herndon, Cumberland Furnace. Pallbearers will be John Bailey, Gary Schmidt, Frank McDonald, James Seivers, Arlon Henidon Jr. and Bob Speck.
Memorials may be made to Broadway Baptist Church-Memorial Fund.
