Anna M. (Antonelli) Frontiera, of Somerville, passed away Friday, November 30th. She was 91. Born and raised in South Boston, she was the daughter of the late Constantino and Mary (LaBlonde) Antonelli.
Anna loved to spend time with her family. She especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Anna's family was her pride and joy. Anna enjoyed dancing in her younger years, and you were for certain that her loving husband Philip was right there beside her. Anna was a dedicated wife, a great mom, loving grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed.
Anna was the beloved wife of the late Philip P. Frontiera Sr. She was the loving mother of Donna M. Weser and her husband Steve, Philip P. Frontiera Jr. and his companion Roberta Hatch, Deborah A. Irr and her husband James Irr Jr., and the late Vincent J. Frontiera and Wilma Frontiera. She was the dear sister of Mary Gilikson, and the late Lena, Domenic, Angelo, John, Anthony, Alfred, George, Joseph, Margaret and Lucia. She was the treasured grandmother of Angela, Lisa, Gina, Nicole, James, Jaime and Jeffrey, great grandmother of Natalia, Stephanya, Jose, Nathan, Chloe, Aiden, Avaleena, Laila and Elizabeth. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
A funeral service will be celebrated in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St, Medford, Wednesday, December 5th at 1 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 11 to 1 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent in Anna's name to the Visiting Nurse Assisted and Senior Living Communities, or to the Wounded Warrior Project,
