DELORES MORGAN BRIDGES Mrs. Delores Morgan Bridges, age 92, of Auburn, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013, in Columbus, Georgia. Mrs. Bridges was born in Cumberland County, North Carolina on August 15, 1920, the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Morgan and Mary Lubelia Smith Morgan. Mrs. Bridges was a longtime resident of Shelby, North Carolina prior to her move to Auburn where she lived at EASE House for several years. Mrs. Bridges was a beloved mother, mother-in-law and aunt. She was preceded in death by her husband Harrill Bridges. She is survived by two daughters: Beverly (James)Jones of Marion, North Carolina and Dorothy B.(Wayne)Greene of Auburn; two nieces, Carolyn(Barry)Wood and Julia Brannon; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and three great-great grand children. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
