Karen Marie Campbell Durham, 57, born February 2, 1957 went to be with her Father in heaven on Friday, February 22, 2013. She is survived by her daughters Monica Gallo Sheftall, McKenzie Durham; step-daughters Jena Gallo, Karen Rhea Gallo, and Angie Christopher; nieces, Angela Rickman Griffith and Kimberly Rickman and her brother Eddie Campbell. She was preceded in death by her father, Bob Campbell; mother, Rose Campbell; sister, Carla Rickman; brother, Jimmy Campbell and her son, Max Hogan Durham. She dedicated her life to her work in ministry with a passion for the spiritual, emotional and physical well-being of the people of North Memphis. Her world missions were concentrated in Africa. Her children and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. A true angel on earth is now in heaven. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, February 27 at 2 p.m. at Hope Church at 8500 Walnut Grove, Cordova, TN 38018. In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to Hope Church, Urban Ministries.

PATRICIA HOGAN McCOY 70 passed away at her home with family and friends at her side Wednesday May 30 2007 after a brief illness. Born in Paris Tennessee, Ms McCoy was the daughter of the late Joseph Patrick Hogan and Louise Morrow Hogan. She was a mortgage officer with First Bank de Puerto Rico and well known by many throughout the real estate community. Ms McCoy was a member of the Rotary Club of St Thomas VI where she served as Secretary and a member of the Board and received the Rotarian of the Year Award in 2003. Through her Rotary service she delivered wheelchairs to Haiti, volunteered to distribute meals at the Bethlehem House Shelter, read to and distributed dictionaries to children in the public schools, and participated in the Boy Scout Regatta. Long committed to affordable housing in the Territory she was a founding member of the Board of Directors of the Habitat for Humanity of the US Virgin Islands and recently received their Service Award. She was also a member of the Board of the St Thomas Arts Council, and a member of the Navy League, and the St Thomas Bridge Club. She will long be remembered for her loving kindness to others. Surviving are her daughters Latricia Lynn Gladney of Memphis TN, and Susan Leigh Overman of Moorhead City NC, and her sons Fred Durham Jr, and David Alan Durham, both of Memphis TN, and sisters Suzanne Dearman of Memphis TN, and Evelyn Daniel of San Diego CA. She is also survived by her son-in-law Robert Gladney, daughters-in-law Karen Durham and Deborah Durham, and grandchildren Season Manuel, Lee Manuel, Amber Cartwright, Josh Lyle, McKenzie Durham, Monica Sheftall, Justin Durham, Jordan Durham, and Hannah Durham. A celebration of Patricia's life is planned for Sunday June 17 at 5 pm at the home of Tom Bolt and Jeni Smith at Morning Star Beach on St Thomas. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials may be made to Habitat for Humanity of the U S Virgin Islands 5600 Royal Dane Mall St Thomas VI 00802 or a charity of one's choice.
