Everett Lee Haskett, 35, died of head injuries after he fell from a tree he was trimming Friday afternoon.
He was born Aug 28, 1938, in Hickman Mills, son of Earl Albert and Lillie Marie Haskett on April 25. 1968.
He married Royene Foster of Windsor, and she survives. He had lived in Windsor since 1968 and was a member of the Calvary Baptist. Surviving are a son, Roy Lee Haskett, of the home; two sons by a previous marriage. Allen Charles and Richard Lee Haskett, both of Kansas City; six step-children, Jeanette, Joe, Bill, Chip, Amy and John Foster, all of the home; his mother. Mrs. Lillie Haskett, Sweet Springs; four sisters, Mrs. Hester Griffen, Sweet Springs; Mrs. Dorothy Christy, Columbia; Mrs. Evelyn Bradshaw, Marshall; Mrs. Beverly Borgstadt, Lexington; one brother, Arthur Haskett, Sedalia; and one step-grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 1 m. Monday at the Gouge Funeral Home here. Burial will be in the Laurel Oak Cemetery.
