Marvin Donald Morris, 83 of Evansville passed away Wednesday September 25 201 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Don was born April 27 1930. in Evansville the son of Ray and Maryetta (Lusk) Morris.
He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict. Don was a lifetime member of VFW Post 1114, and operated the Evansville Coliseum for the VFW for many years. Don owned and operated Stylemaster Decorators Upholstery and Refinishing Business until his retirement in 1992. He was an avid golfer enjoyed boating and was a member of the Evansville Yacht Club. But most of all Don loved attending all his grandchildren’s sporting events with his late wife, Sharon, never missing a single one. He was a devoted husband, father, father-in-law, papaw, and great-papaw.
He is survived by daughter Donna Jones (Rick) of Evansville; sons Mark Morris (Susie) of Newburgh, and Scott Morris (Stephanie) of Evansville; sister Janet Carver of Indianapolis IN; grandchildren Corey Morris (Krista), Joshua Morris (Ashley), and Brandi O’Donnell (Collin), and great-grandsons Liam O’Donnell and Graham Morris, expected in January 2014.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years, Sharon (Lauber) Morris in March 2013, and siblings Wanda Schlageter and Melvin Richard and Robert Morris.
Funeral Services will be held at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery, where the Vanderburgh County Retired Veterans Memorial Club will perform full military rites. Friends may call at Boone Funeral Home - East Chapel.

Sharon Morris, 79, of Evansville passed away Friday, March 15 2013, at her home. Sharon was born August 28 1933 in Evansville, the daughter of Henry and Bertha (Clark) Lauber.
She retired from the EVSC after 37 years of service as a cafeteria worker at Caze Elementary School where her love of the children she nourished grew with every year. Sharon enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and working word search puzzles. She especially loved attending all her grandchildren’s sporting events. never missing a single one.
She was a devoted wife and loving daughter, mother, mother-in-law, mamaw, and great-mamaw. She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Donald Morris of Evansville; daughter Donna Jones (Rick) of Evansville; sons Mark Morris (Susie) of Newburgh, and Scott Morris (Stephanie) of Evansville, grandchildren Corey Morris (Krista), Joshua Morris (Ashley), and Brandi O’Donnell (Collin), and great-grandson Liam O’Donnell.
