He lived in Blowing Rock for the past 26 years. He was an X-ray and laboratory technician. Surviving are three sons, Glover and Guerry Waters, both of Savannah, and Jack Waters of Orlando, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Vivian Waters Smith of Vero Beach, Fla., a sister, Mrs. Belle Land of Statesboro and several grandchildren.
