Mrs. Sadie I. Sales, 90, passed away March 11, 2009, at Southbrook Skilled Nursing Center, Farmington. Sadie was born January 17, 1919, in St. Francois County and was the daughter of Thomas A. Gibson and Amanda Evelyn 'Williams' Gibson McDowell. Also preceding-in-death were: her first husband, Bert Hall; her second husband, George Sanford Sales (1997); One Sister, Ethel Doss; One Brother, John David "Big Cat" Gibson and Two Grandchildren: Georgia Michelle Sales and Michael Sales. Sadie was a member of the Hurryville FreeWill Baptist Church. Survivors Include: Two Daughters, Sadie'Irene 'Mrs. Jack' Cunningham, of Farmington, and Linda Sales, of Farmington. One Son: Tom (and Sherry) Sales, of Farmington. Two Sisters: Bernice Mrs. Glen' Hargiss, of Leadington and Barbara Sherrills, of Doe Run. One Brother: Ralph Gibson, of Ironton. Also surviving are Four Grandchildren, Eight Great-Grandchildren and 16 Great, Great-Grandchildren. Visitation 5-8 p.m., today at Taylor Funeral Service, Inc., Farmington. Visitation resumes Saturday at 6:30 a.m., and funeral Saturday, 10 a.m., March 14, 2009, at Taylor Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Herbert McMillian officiating. Interment follows at Knights-of-Pythias Cemetery, Farmington.

He is survived by his wife, Sadie Sales of Farmington; son, Tom (& Sherry) Sales of Farmington; daughters: Sadie Irene 'Mrs. Jack Cunningham of Hurryville & Linda Sales of the home; sister, Helen 'Mrs. Lindell' Elders of Farmington; brothers: Luther Sales of Knob Lick & Pete Sales of Knob Lick; grandchildren: Mark Sales of St Louis, Jim (& Diane) Cunningham of Leadington, Justin (& Cindy) Cunningham of Park Hills & Jackie Hand of Farmington; & 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will start Thurs. at 5 p.m. at TAYLOR Funeral Service, Inc., Farmington. Funeral services will be Fri. at 2 p.m. at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL with Rev. Ronnie Graham officiating. Burial will be in Knights-of-Pythias Cemetery, Farmington.

Mrs. Sherry Ann Sales, 66, passed away September 3, 2009, at the Mineral Area Regional Medical Center. Sherry was born November 30, 1942, in Farmington, and was the daughter of the late James Russell King and Rosetta Elizabeth ‘Beck' King. Also preceding-in-death was a son, Michael Thomas Sales (1989).
Sherry was a longtime, faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Farmington and worked for many years at Precision Eye Care in Farmington.
Survivors Include: her husband, Tom Sales, of Farmington. One Son, Mark Sales, of Farmington. Seven Sisters: Rose Marie ‘Mrs. Lindell' Kennon, of Farmington; Carol Jane King, of Farmington; Helen ‘Mrs. Byron' Richardson, of French Village; Dolores Lewellen, of Farmington; Barbara ‘Mrs. Will' Shelton, of Farmington; Cathy ‘Mrs. Alan' Thompson, of Chipley, Florida and Elaine ‘Mrs. David' Easter, of Park Hills. Two Brothers: Jim King, of Farmington; John (and Susan) King, of Ashland, Missouri. One Granddaughter, Becky Sales, of Ste. Genevieve. Also surviving are numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation today, 5-9 p.m. with rosary at 7 p.m., at Taylor Funeral Service, Inc., Farmington. Visitation resumes Saturday, 6:30-9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass, Saturday, 10 a.m., September 5, 2009, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Farmington, with Fr. James Dyer officiating.
Interment follows in Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington.
