Melvin 'Pete' Wigger PARK HILLS - Melvin "Pete" Wigger, 87, formerly of Park Hills, passed away May 3, 2014, at Presbyterian Manor in Farmington. He was born March 4, 1927, at Doe Run.
Melvin served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War, he received a Purple Heart; he was also a member of the Knights of Pythias.
He was preceded in death by: Parents, Joseph Lewis Wigger Jr. and Edna Mae (Manes) Wigger; seven sister, Faye Drake, Frances Wigger, Georgia VanSickle, Mildred Nolan, Mary Lesh, Edna Jennings, Bonnie Baird and Patsy Cox; and brother, Millard "Bud" Wigger.
He is survived by: Daughters, Sheila McCMillan and Dwayne of Park Hills, and Judith Witbart and Craig of St. Louis; two grandchildren, Jeremy Bohenkamp of Boise, La., and Lauren Witbart of Atlanta, Ga.; and one great-grandson. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Monday, May 5, 2014, at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home in Park Hills with Rev. Ray Jarvis officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Ila Jean Randolph Williamson Laird Wigger, 84, of Desloge was born February 14, 1931, to the late Clarence and Anna Randolph. She departed this life in her home on July 28, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Woody (Red) Laird and Melvin (Pete) Wigger; son, James Williamson; daughters, Melba Blatz and Diana Boyer; three brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Gilbert, Vera Link and Linda Hinkle; siblings, Betty (Alan) Rothlisberger, Maryland (Edward) Cowsert, Sylvia Walton, Teresa (Greg) Land and Max Randolph; two granddaughters, four grandson and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday 6 p.m. in the Coplin Funeral Home. Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in the Coplin Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in the Parkview Cemetery.
