Our Family's Journey Through Time
Home-BUTLER Joseph (Wright's Tavern)
Wright's Tavern was the gathering point for the Minutemen of Concord before the British Redcoats arrived on the morning of April 19, 1775. One of the Minutemen companies was commanded by our ancestor, Captain Joseph Butler. Later in the fall of 1775 he became the proprietor of this establishment.
