News (Fatality)-MYATT Maude (Suicide)
MYATT FUNERAL WILL BE HELD MONDAY • Services For Girl Who Was Found With Bullet In Throat Tomorrow • Funeral services for Miss Maude Myatt, 21, daughter of Mr and Mrs J W Myatt, who died at the hospital Saturday after being found by her father in their home with a bullet wound in her throat will be held from the Mills chapel Monday afternoon, interment being at the IOOF cemetery. Miss Myatt was found by her father who was working near the house and who rushed to her side when he heard a pistol shot. She was taken to the hospital where she died an hour later. Miss Myatt, it was stated, had been in poor health for several years and had been left alone in the house just before the shooting took place. The wound, it was said, was caused by a gun held close to her throat and those investigating the shooting said there would be no cause for an inquest. Besides her parents she is survived by four sisters, Mrs Nellie Frase, Montesano, Mrs Boyd Andrews, Mrs Edith Doran, and Miss Ada Myatt of this city, and thr
