Murder-Suicide Probed In State • COTTONDALE Fla (AP) -Jackson County sheriffs deputies say they have not determined why a Largo woman shot and killed her mother and then killed herself near the Pahhandle town of Cottondale. Police identified the victims in ihe Sunday incident as Sadie Braxton Twomey 64 and Myra Ann Twomey 32. The bodies of the two women were found Sunday morning in the younger woman’s car parked near a cemetery in northwest Jackson County. "The mother was shot in the back of the head with a 32-caliber pistol" said a Jackson County Sheriffs Department spokesman "Then the daughter shot herself in the right temple with the same weapon.” -- The Bradenton Herald • Bradenton, Florida • 17 Sep 1973, Mon • Page 7
